With an experienced team of around ten people, La Wantzenau’s Notary’s Office assists with its expertise both private clients purchasing a main or second home and professional clients, such as property investors and developers, with their transactions in the residential property sector.

We assist our clients with the purchase of their primary residence – a significant milestone in their lives – as well as with their property investments, such as life annuity purchases, building plots for construction purposes, rental properties, etc.

Our market knowledge and expertise enable us to anticipate developments and provide the best possible advice to our private and business clients on their property strategies, regardless of how their assets are structured, the form of the planned ownership (real estate investment companies (société civile immobilière), split ownership, joint ownership, etc.), their nationality or tax residence or the tax-saving scheme they are seeking to implement.

Based on its local presence and network, La Wantzenau’s Notary’s Office is well-placed to bring sellers and buyers together or to arrange partnerships with trusted real estate agents.

We are involved from the initial valuation of the property onwards, facilitating negotiations between the parties and formalising the terms of the agreement through the appropriate notarial document (pre-contracts, sale agreements, mortgage deeds, leases, conversion of a building into a co-ownership, or the merger or division of a co-ownership), thereby ensuring, as required by our role as public officers, the legal certainty of our clients’ property transactions.
